The Cavvietta Team
Pedro Torres is the man with the plan at Cavvietta. He spends his days honing in on his skills with horses, stock dogs, and cattle. There aren't many hours you'll catch him without a rope in his hand. Pedro is a master mind when it comes to horsemanship and stockmanship. He creates a unique learning environment on the ranch for advanced riders.
Gracie Torres enjoys ranch life in the early morning hours, checking her momma cows on the back of a horse, admiring God's creation. She is dedicated to developing up and coming horsemen and providing a safe and comfortable learning environment for first generation horsemen and stockmen (and women, of course!) of all ages.
Jessie is on her third year as the Ranch Manager at Cavvietta. She provides top notch care for the equines and our clients here on the ranch. Her medical and vet-tech background has helped Jessie lovingly cater to the wide variety of animals and humans that live on and frequent the ranch. Jessie has developed a passion for horsemanship in her time here and looks forward to advancing her skills.
Cam is coming into his second year at Cavvietta, where he has been able to develop a deeper skill set in his cattle work. He is a lover of the old west, fancy tack, and vaquero horsemanship. Cam spends every waking moment dreaming about his next step on the horses he works with. Cam is in charge of an array of tasks on the ranch, and takes each of them seriously.
Carmen has been a member of the Cavvietta family since 2017, when she first started as a working student. Since then she has worked as a stall mucker, feeder, ranch manager, drill team coach, and youth riding instructor. Carmen's upbeat personality is an asset to the ranch. Her desire to grow herself and her students, in horsemanship and in life, is a shining example of our mission.
Hollis is a young cowgirl who enjoys competing in a variety of equine sports, including--but not limited to--ranch horse, big loop roping, sorting, and cowboy mounted shooting. Hollis is a member of our drill team, but first and foremost is a working student with a heart of gold. Her dedication to gaining experience and knowledge shows in the progress she continues to make in her horsemanship journey.
