About the Event

Horsemanship Clinic will be held Sunday, October 23rd from 9AM-3:00PM. $100 per person. Max of 12 participants.

Ranch Roping Clinic with Phil Oakes of OBar Ranch and Truth Based Horsemanship

Learn new shots, work on precision, find consistency, and become a confident, competitive ranch roper! Phil is a fabulous horseman and cattleman making his way down from northern Michigan to lead this clinic and judge the No Lopin’ Ranch Roping the day after the clinic. First group will be 1:30-4:30. Second group will be from 5:30-8:30. The clinic is $115 per person. This includes the stock charge. We will have a cowboy cookout at the campfire after the clinic. Limited spots available. Entries will be available online soon! Some roping experience recommended. Earlier private lessons available.

    This group will ride Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 pm Ranch Roping Clinic with Phil Oakes of OBar Ranch and Truth Based Horsemanship Learn new shots, work on precision, find consistency, and become a confident, competitive ranch roper! Phil is a fabulous horseman and cattleman making his way down from northern Michigan to lead this clinic and judge the No Lopin’ Ropin' on October 22nd. $115 includes stock charge. Lots of roping practice in a small group setting with a healthy learning environment.
