About the Event

Join us for this 3 day clinic with Cody Deering of Cody Deering Horsemanship. Cody Deering is the founder of the popular group page Californio Traditions and brings a brain-stimulating approach to horsemanship. All riding disciplines welcome! If you want to learn more about strenthening the communication between you and your horse, understand the mechanics of jaquima (hackamore) or spade bit, if you'd like to visit a new approach to working cattle, or brush up on your big loop roping skills, this is the clinic for you!

This event is rain on shine. Pack a slicker, just in case as we are an outdoor venue. 

We will serve lunch for an additional $10 per person on Saturday. If you plan on watching or riding and would like to join us, please purchase the meal ticket with your order.

Limited stalls available at $70 for Friday and Saturday night. 

You are welcome to tie out or set up temporary fencing free of charge

  • Participant

    Friday starting at noon we will have horsemanship work starting on the ground. Saturday we will work on horsemanship first thing, then some stockmanship and ranch roping. Saturday afternoon is the no loping roping competition. If you'd like to participate, you can sign up during the event! Bring cash in case you want to try! It will pay back. Sunday is more horsemanship. If you'd like lunch on Saturday, please pay for that separately.

    IT is $35 per day to watch. Please purchase one ticket for each day you plan on watching. Please purchase a Saturday lunch ticket separate if you plan on joining us for lunch.

  • Stall

    Stalls are $70 for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday night). They are lightly bedded. Feel free to bring additional bedding if you think you'll need more. Or you can buy more from us at $7/bag.
