Spring Break Horse Camp
We are excited to be hosting the Spring Break Horse Camp April 22-26 from 8am to 5pm. Participants may bring their own horse or use one from our cavvy! No horse experience necessary but participant MUST come willing to learn!
We aim to bring the old working west to the people of North Carolina through Stockmanship, Horsemanship, and Sportsmanship. Our company uses efficient techniques to accomplish ranch chores 365 days a year, and we seek to achieve our tasks—no matter how small—with a sense of respect, integrity, leadership, and passion. We are firm believers that nothing beats a hard day’s work and time in the saddle.
Individuals who have their own mounts are encouraged to bring them in order to strengthen their partnership through better communication, but we are happy to provide a horse from our cavvy, just let us know beforehand! Participants may leave their horse overnight for $10 per night if they bring their own.
Participants should expect to feed horses and other animals, play games, groom/saddle horses, get group saddle time, eat lunch, and enjoy other fun activities. Two snacks and lunch will be provided throughout the day. Price is $250 per participant.
What to bring:
Jeans/Long sleeve shirts to work and ride in
A helmet (recommended), cowboy hat and/or ball cap that stays on your head in windy conditions. Note: we can provide helmets but have a limited number of sizes.
Water bottle or canteen with name clearly labeled
